Maitland City Council Election

The Maitland City Council election will be held on Saturday 14th September 2024.

Each eligible voter will be required to vote for their local Ward Councillors as well as the popularly elected Mayor. For important dates, see below.

ENROL TO VOTE

You must be enroled to vote prior to 5 August 2024 in order to participate in this year's election. You can enrol to vote, or update your enrolment, here.

PREPOLL INFORMATION

Eligible voters are able to vote in person prior to Election Day.

Maitland Ward Boundary Changes

Maitland City Council Wards have both new names and boundaries.

Central Ward has become Ward 1
North Ward has become Ward 2
East Ward has become Ward 3
West Ward has become Ward 4
