Amelia Atkinson

Amelia Atkinson is a Maitland Local and mum of two young boys with a background in small business. She owned and operated a well-known retail store in the Maitland CBD for 9 years.

​Amelia is deeply invested in Maitland's future and is passionate about helping to build a vibrant, inclusive community and sustainable future for our fast-growing regional city.

Amelia has been actively involved in the community for several years, as a ​volunteer committee member for Maitland Community Preschool and through her boys' school communities,

​

Amelia believes in the importance of genuine community representation in local government, engaging with residents to ensure a diversity of voices and aspirations are heard in decision-making. She aims to bring energy and practical perspectives to Council and will advocate for initiatives that support the local economy, enrich community life and future-proof Maitland by protecting and enhancing the natural environment.

Amelia will be an effective voice for her ward and the community of Maitland on Council.
